Care for people in comas/apalic state

We offer services for people in comas/ apalic state. Those patients do not longer need a hospitalization, however, they require comprihensive nursing , doctor care and rehabilitation.

Criteria of apalic state assesment:

• no contact with the environment
• luck of verbal or non verbal communication
• luck of emotional reaction on verbal stimulations
• luck of speech, mouth movements
• rythm of sleep is mainatained
• vertical and core changeable movements are maintained
• luck of basic movements and of ability to copy them
• patological reactions on pain
• parameters of blood pressure as well as heart and breathing acctivities are stable
• incontinence of urine and tool

Medical services are financed by the National health Fund, however, costs of alimentation and accomodation are to be covered by patients (Regualtion of a Ministry of Health and Social Care dated 30 December 1998, Dz. U. Nr 166 z 1998 r. poz. 1265).

The National Health Fund finances residence of patiens that has been qualified in the Barthel scale from 0 to 40 points.
